Chance Of A Lifetime!

How about taking the only opportunity to explore the rarely seen Kanaio Coast? This is Maui’s desolate south shore consisting of large lava tubes, dragon scales, side vent volcanoes, and much more.  Blue Water Rafting is the only company on Maui that offers an excursion to this coast – the larger charter boats do not travel there, given that it is nearly impossible for their vessels to maneuver in and around the sea caves surrounding the rougher south shore. On the other hand, the vessels used by Blue Water Rafting are actually 30-foot Navy Seal rescue rafts, pushed by 2 x 250 HP outboard motors (very safe, very powerful and very fun!). They offer a variety of remote exotic snorkeling sites including both spinner dolphin and green sea turtle habitats, and the famous Molokini Marine Preserve.

Three Trips To Choose From…

They offer three excursions: The Kanaio/Molokini Tour which is 5.5 hours long; The Kanaio Coast Tour which is 4 hours long; and The 2-Hour Molokini Express. They also offer private charters and fishing trips. The longer Kanaio excursion allows you to fully experience the Kanaio Coast, with snorkeling at La Perouse Bay and the Molokini Crater. Breakfast and lunch are provided – breakfast includes fruits, muffins, and bagels, and lunch includes fresh deli meats, sandwich fixings, and cookies for dessert. Beverages are Hawaiian fruit juices and bottled water. They also do whale watching trips during season (Dec-April). All tours depart from the Kihei Boat Ramp located just south of Kamaole Beach Park III at 2777 South Kihei Road. You can call them at 808-879-7238, or check out their website at BlueWaterRafting.com for more information.
